Celestial is an installation of sky-inspired sails to shade the elevated deck of a sun-filled Southern California park.
Combining hand-painted layers of sky with drawn birds, lines and a shining crescent moon, we created large scale digital designs. We went through multiple rounds of printed proofs to achieve hues that are the perfect balance of vibrant and subtle. The final designs were printed to cover 3,000 square feet of Italian shade sail fabric.
