Her motivation as an artist is to elevate our love of our earth and the incredible beauty and life that it offers.

Her creative process of studying nature, looking closely, drawing, and uncovering the ways we are all connected, has sharpened her own vision.

“What once I saw as grassy hills are now havens of sage and coyote bush and sticky monkey flowers. The colors and forms take on meaning which grows into a deeper understanding of the world around me. We cannot fully see what we don’t understand. Public art is a means of expanding my understanding and sharing what I find, so we all might learn to see more vividly.”

Every site has its unique assets and challenges that the collaborative process should honor and complement. Through a thoughtful process that considers context, technical constraints, and aesthetic and conceptual goals, we have been able to design and oversee the fabrication of long-lasting large-scale murals, architectural features, sculptural installations, kinetic artwork, and interior or exterior multimedia installations for both civic and private clients.
